Joel Weisbrod started taking photographs more than 35 years ago and after thousands of rolls of film, Joel began using digital cameras and has more than 250,000 stock digital photos from around the world in his collection. His company jwArtWorks LLC, markets his photographs and books.

His passion is floral and landscape photography. After experimenting with several different types of production media, Joel found that producing Giclée images on high quality canvas yielded startling results for his vivid color, high contrast images.

In addition, using a film camera with attached strobe, Joel began shooting photographs underwater. After hundreds of underwater photographs, he discovered that a different technical discipline was required. He is currently using a simple point-and-shoot digital camera in special waterproof housing for underwater photography. Joel’s art is on display in many residential and commercial locations throughout the US including The Empire State Building in NYC.  In addition to nature, underwater, and landscape photography, Joel does custom photography of people, homes, and events.
